-No track practice today.

-Sophomores and juniors can register for Culver classes.  See Mrs. Oliver for more information.

-All juniors, seniors, and their dates planning to attend After Prom must return a signed permission slip to Mrs. Froman TODAY.  Permission slips are on the high school counter.

-TODAY is the last day to turn in out of school dance request forms for Prom.  If your date is not a junior or senior at Canton R-V you must fill out a pink request form.  Late forms will NOT be accepted.

-The sign-up sheet for After Prom shirts is on the high school counter.  Money is due Monday.

-Quincy University will be here today to meet with interested juniors and seniors during lunch.

-Practice for high school poms will be May 7th-9th from 7:00-8:00 AM with tryouts on May 10th at 3:30.

-There will be practice and tryouts in the small gym for anyone interested in joining dance team next year.  Practice will be May 9th at 7:30 PM & May 10th at 7:00 PM…tryouts will be May 11th at 5:30.

-Practice for junior high poms will be May 14th-16th from 7:00-8:00 AM with tryouts on May 17th at 3:30.

-Students 13 years or older by June 1st, are able to apply to be a Blessing Hospital Youth Corps Volunteer this summer.  See Mrs. Oliver for more information.

-Students interested in careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) are eligible to apply to attend a one week STEM Camp either June 18th-22nd or June 25th-29th from 8:30-2:45 daily.  Participants will visit and participate in many hands on activities at various Hannibal industry partners.  Transportation from Hannibal High School will be provided daily to the industry and back to HHS at the end of the day.  A maximum of 24 students will be accepted to the program each week and lunch will be provided daily at the site of the industry.  Students will be admitted on a first come, first served basis.


-The sign-up sheet for the baseball concession stand is ready…see Mrs. Brown to sign up.

-Senior NHS members - please let Mrs. Brown know TODAY if you want to purchase a new stole for graduation.  The cost is $20.

-The sign-up sheet for extra flowers at graduation is outside of Mrs. Brown's room.  Each senior receives one flower, any extra flowers must be purchased for $2.50 each.  Orders and money are due by Tuesday, May 1st.

-If a counselor report is needed for a scholarship, you MUST request the report from Mrs. Oliver at least 1 week in advance of the scholarship due date.

-Students planning to major in a medical related field are eligible to apply for the LaGrange Medical Board scholarship.  Deadline is today.

-Senior, 4-year softball players are eligible to apply for the Kourtnie Geisendorfer Memorial Scholarship.  Deadline is today.

-Seniors planning to major in a conservation/natural resources or an agriculture related field are eligible to apply for the Ten Rivers Pheasants Forever scholarship.  Deadline is May 1st.

-Senior males with a minimum 3.0 GPA can apply for the $1000 Masonic Craft Lodge #287 Scholarship.  Deadline is May 4th.

-Seniors with a minimum 2.0 GPA, who rank between the 60th and 90th percentile, are eligible to apply for the Joe Lloyd scholarship.  Deadline is May 4th.
