Thank you to Mr. Doug Wilson for allowing our Agriculture Classes to come out for a visit this week. Mrs. Durst's Conservation and Natural Resource Class and Agriculture Science II students enjoyed getting out of the classroom for a day to learn about how Quail are raised. Mr. Wilson showed the students his brooding facilities for quail.
The Canton FFA and Canton Parents as Teachers will be hosting Big Truck Night on Wednesday, September 17th.
First grade had a wonderful afternoon on Friday as they welcomed Grandparents into the building. Grandparents Day was a success!

Congratulations to the Lady Tigers for taking second place at the Monroe City Tournament today! Lost 10-4 to Montgomery County in the championship game.
Lady Tigers come back from being down 4-3 in the bottom of the 7th to score 2 and advance to the Monroe City Tournament championship.

Mrs. Phillips' Anatomy students used some of the terms and skills they have been learning to complete a forensics lab today. They had to determine what happened to their "pickle" person in the crime scene. This required them to record observations from the scene/victim and perform an autopsy as a medical examiner.
