Due to the lettered roads in the county still mostly covered with compacted snow, Canton R-V will not be in-session tomorrow, Monday, December 15.

Update for Events: 12/12/25 - All activities are being held as scheduled. 12/13/25 - JH Basketball and the ACT Exam have been cancelled.

No School -12/12/25 Due to road conditions there will be no school tomorrow, Friday, December 12.

Tonight’s (12/11/25) Varsity basketball games have been postponed due to poor travel conditions north of Canton. We apologize for the short notice.

Congratulations to the Tigers and Lady Tigers! The boys claimed 3rd Place and the girls won the Championship of the Tri-Rivers Classic. Kaden Oliver, Kenna Oliver, and Chayse Uhlmeyer made the All-Tournament teams. Chayse Uhlmeyer was recognized as the All-Tournament Team MVP.

Canton R-V buses will be traveling hard surfaces only beginning tomorrow morning,

The varsity games at Schuyler Co. are still being played at 5:30 tonight.

Update: Mark Twain JH Tournament The Mark Twain JH Tournament has now been postponed for Tuesday, December 2. The tournament will be played Dec 3-5. The bracket and locations will remain the same. The only change is the dates.

Due to ongoing winter weather conditions, Canton R-V will not be in session tomorrow, Tuesday, December 2. Congratulations to Emma Walton! She was Caller #12 on our Snow Day Give-Away. She won an All-Sport Family Pass for the remainder of the school year.

Here are some updates to basketball schedules for the week of Dec 1 - 6:

12/2/25 - JHBB vs Monroe City - POSTPONED

Mark Twain JH Tournament Info:
All games scheduled for this evening have been moved to Tuesday. JH Girls will play at 6:45pm in the Middle School gym, followed by the JH Boys at 8:00pm. An updated bracket has been attached,

Tri Rivers HS Tournament Info:
All first round games will be played on Tuesday. The varsity boys and girls will both play at 5:30pm. The boys will play in the Middle School gymnasium and the girls will play in the High School gymnasium. An updated bracket has been attached.

Good Evening Tigers! Due to the current conditions of our gravel roads combined with the forecasted weather for tomorrow possibly beginning before noon, there will be no school tomorrow, December 1 for Canton R-V. For planning purposes, families living on gravel roads should plan for hard surfaces only bus routes for the remainder of the week, December 2-5.
