Contest Update: The JV boys' contest for Wednesday, February 18, has been cancelled. There will only be a Varsity girls' contest. The tip-off for the girls game will be 6:00 p.m.

Congratulations to Samuel Schellenberger and Will Clark for placing 1st in the FFA Area Proficiency Awards.
Samuel placed 1st in the Area III Outdoor Recreation Proficiency Award. Samuel worked this summer at the Wakonda State Park as a part of his Supervised Agriculture Experience. Samuel will compete in April at the State Level.
Stephen William Clark placed 1st in the Area III Small Animal Production Proficiency Award Area. Will works at the family-owned Clarks Labrador Ranch. Will will compete in April at the State Level.

Contest Update: Friday's JVB/VG/VB games at Silex has been moved up 30 minutes. The JV Boys game will tip off at 4:30 followed by Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys.
Look at our KINDERGARTEN artists! Big K was able to decorate Campen Heating and Air with their art. They created Jim Dine inspired artwork! Great job!
Canton R-V FBLA participants brought home several awards last week. Please join us in congratulating the following students who have qualified for the State FBLA Conference in April!

We are proud to recognize the following students as our January Students of the Month.
Tonight, the JV boys game will start at 5:00 p.m. and they will play 2 quarters. The Varsity girls game will tip off at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Varsity boys game. Senior Night recognition will take place at halftime of the Varsity boys game.
Don’t miss the silent auction at the game tonight!
Canton R-V Schools were placed on a "stay put" this morning to allow EMS and first responders to have clear access to a student who was having a medical emergency. There was no threat to student safety.
Canton R-V will not be in session tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27.
Update 1/26/26 - JV basketball at Monroe City for this evening has been cancelled.
Canton R-V will not be in session on Monday, January 26, due to forecasted low wind chill values and road conditions.
The Palmyra Tournament schedule has been modified as follows:
3rd Place Girls - Canton vs Palmyra - Friday at 7:30pm
3rd Place Boys - Canton vs Van-Far - Saturday at 9:00am
Due to the forecasted wind chill tomorrow morning and throughout the day, Canton R-V will not be in session tomorrow, Friday, January 23.
